DRIVING DIRECTIONS & DISTANCES

Solvang is located just off of Highway 101 and Highway 246    
Just two and one half hours from Los Angeles, and five hours from the San Francisco Bay area, Solvang is easily reached from Highway 101 at the Highway 246 turnoff in Buellton. Coming from Southern California, take HIghway 101 North to Highway 246 (at Buellton), turn right for three miles. From Northern California take Highway 101 South to Highway 246 (at Buellton), turn left for three miles.

From the City of Santa Barbara, visitors can also take Highway 154 to the HIghway 246 turnoff in Santa Ynez.

Private aircraft are also welcome at nearby Santa Ynez airport, and Solvang is also accessible by AMTRAK, which stops in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo, which features a connecting bus service to Solvang. Call 800-USA-RAIL for more information. Greyhound buses also stop daily in Buellton.
